I was surprised to see that Dr. Sun Yat-sen's deeds were praised there, on the second floor of the exhibition hall, which is located in the west side of the main building of the memorial hall.
I learned about Dr. Sun Yat-sen and the complex history of 'People's Republic of China' and 'Republic of China'. Dr. Sun Yat-sen was the first provisional president of 'Republic of China (Taiwan)' and referred to as "father" of Republic of China. He is also referred to as "a national hero" in People's Republic of China.
On a different note, he was a Christian.

『Dr. Sun Yat-sen is a great patriot, a hero of the nation, and great forerunner of the Chinese Democratic Revolution. He contributed all his entire life to freedom and democracy, people's livelihood, national independence, unification and prosperity. He enjoys great prestige among all Chinese people and all patriots. Members of communist Party of China show respect for him for ever. They're always firm supporters, cooperators, and successors of Sun's revolution.』
